When you have one or more small kids crawling all over you, or you are constantly breastfeeding, or your husband want more intimacy, and there is just always SOMEONE who want your body! It is so incredibly normal and understandable to feel touched out. I want to honor that feeling, so this is a movement practice to release and create space just for YOU and YOUR body.

EXPLORING SOFTNESS

You’re body is soft and so are you <3
If you’ve been practicing the yoga flows in this membership for a while now, you’ve might already know of and feel the concept of softness. In our mother bodies, softness is key to connecting inwards and feeling comfortable in our own skin. Softness is moving how it feels good, and that is what we will explore today. We will move gentle and slow enough to really feel how we are feeling and what is present in us. By this kind of movement it allows us to explore the new landscape that is your soft postpartum body.

CREATING STABILITY - CORE AND PELVIS WORK

This is probably the most common kind of movement in other postpartum yoga courses or workouts. Postnatal movement is often focusing on the pelvis, pelvic floor and deep abdominal muscles - for a good reason, as these muscles is so foundational to gather a sense of connection to your strength and core stability. SO we will also practice this today, as a part of moving like you love yourself, and moving with softness, also is creating the right foundation for more playfulness and juiciness in the postpartum body

FREE FLOWING AND CONNECTING TO INTUITION

In this video we will practice the intuitive movements and how/why it feels selfcaring and healing through postpartum and in motherhood. We will explore that way of moving, and feel into our bodies what moving intuitively means. It’s a mix of yoga shapes and free flowing, all that works bests with the curated playlist to follow.

FINDING HOME

The feeling of being comfortable in your body and feeling safe is key when we reconnect to our bodies postpartum. The body carries the clues. It carries trauma. It carries memories deep in the tissue. In this flow I’ll guide you to find anchor within. It's soft, gentle and loving in its approach, and full of supporting words along with the movements.
